Our story and the creation of The Secret Garden Wedding Company began on our own wedding day on the 11th July 2015 which was held in the grounds and gardens of our own home. Our experience was truly magical. It was so special and unique that we wanted to offer this wedding venue and experience to those couples looking for something a bit different for their special day.
The 'Muckle Hoose', dating from around 1560, and originally part of the main wing of Deskford Castle, provides a beautiful back-drop for the wedding venue and wedding photographs while the remains of the original Castle Tower entrance and courtyard provide an intimate marquee-covered wedding ceremony venue for up to 70 guests. All nestled within 0.6 of an acre of glorious garden grounds, The Secret Garden is a hidden gem within Moray, embodying a network of twisting cobbled paths, draped in splashes of colour that extend from the main pond and 'Contemplation Corner' in the bottom garden up to the second pond in the more tranquil and secluded top garden, perfect for capturing those perfect moments on camera.
